1976 Cessna 177B
PAINT: WHITE OVERALL WITH LIGHT BLUE AND DARK BLUE TRIM
The aircraft paint [repainted in 1995] covers the overall airframe very well. The paint has a very good luster over the entire airframe and is not showing any oxidation. There are minimal small chips of missing paint around the airframe – a few on the leading edge of the left wing, and the rest small areas around fairing screw holes. The nose fairing has a few dings and paint chips where the tow bar attaches. With some attention to the few small chips of missing paint and periodic detailing, this paint job should provide good appearance and protection for a number of years to come.

I was the buyers agent for the current owner in 2010. The aircraft went through an extensive annual by one of the top Cardinal shops in the country. It has been well cared for and upgraded since.
Early damage history - from 1983 to 2003: Left wing struck a fuel truck while taxiing; Right wing struck snow bank; Right wing leading edge repair due to bird strike; Belly skins under pilots floor and left wing leading edge and tip repaired. Cause not described, but reads like a landing incident. All repairs used factory new replacement parts and are well documented.
INTERIOR: BLUE VINYL AND GRAY FABRIC SEATS AND SIDE PANELS. MATCHING SIDE AND KICK PANEL TRIM
DARK BLUE CARPET
The interior was redone in 1995. The interior has a generally clean appearance overall. Both front seats arrived with sheepskin covers. They have been removed for these photos. Only the co-pilot seat is in poor condition - with one tear on the seat pan and two on the seat back. The other seats exhibit no tears, loose stitching, stains, or fading. The plastic trim exhibits a clean and smooth finish with no cracking. The side panel fabric on the co-pilot door exhibits staining. The side panel on the pilot door is both stained and torn around the door handle. The carpet shows normal wear, with loose stitching right at the front edge of each cabin door frame. There are some light stains in high use areas. However the carpet remains very serviceable. The headliner is very clean, with no gaps and of good color.
The windshield and cabin windows are clear, with minimal light scratches. The rear cabin window has a considerable "milky" appearance to it. The small door vent windows also exhibits much lighter milkiness.
I have fully test flown this aircraft and it is a well balanced, good performing Cardinal with all systems functioning normally. All logs and large photo cache available via DropBox on request.
