PAINT: WHITE OVERALL WITH GOLD & ROYAL BLUE [PAINTED 11/30/2012]
The aircraft was painted in November of 2012 and exhibits excellent coverage over the entire airframe with a good luster over most of the airframe. There are some small missing paint chip areas - on the tip tank and nose bowls, and the underside of each wing at inspection plate areas and the cowlings. There are a couple of areas of what appear to be treatment of filaform corrosion - on the inboard section of the left wing and on the elevator. Overall the rest of the paint is free of any evidence of surface corrosion. The glass is overall good all-around. All windows do show some spots of normal scratches and crazing. This aircraft did experience a gear up landing in 2002. The aircraft file contains considerable detail of the repairs, including photos. Other repairs to the structure include right elevator in 1979; aft fin assembly in 1998; and right aileron and vertical fin in 2004. INTERIOR: MEDIUM BLUE FABRIC SEAT INSERTS WITH DARK BLUE VINYL TRIM, SIDE PANELS, AND CARPET.
The interior was redone in November 2009, with the two front seats redone in 2012. Overall the fabric, vinyl and carpet are well maintained. The stitching is tight and exhibit no tears. The carpet is clean with no rips or pulling. The headliner is off white and very clean. The plastic trim is also off white with just a few small areas of cracking. However, some areas of the plastic trim exhibit some soiling or fading. AIRCRAFT IS LOCATED AT THE STATESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT, KSVH, STATESVILLE, NC.
