PAINT: MATTERHORN WHITE OVERALL WITH LT. BURGANDY, MEDIUM SILVER & DARK BLUE TRIM [PAINTED 5/10/2001]
The aircraft was painted in May of 2001 and exhibits excellent coverage over the entire airframe with a very good luster. The de-ice boots are clean, free of patches, and exhibit a glossy look.
INTERIOR: GRAY LEATHER SEATS WITH SOFT FABRIC INSERTS. GRAY FABRIC SIDE PANELS WITH LEATHER TRIM, AND GRAY CARPET.
The interior was extensively updated in January of 2016 and is very clean and well maintained. It consists of gray leather seats, with a softer quilted type seat insert on five of the six seats. The sixth seat is all leather. [The owner operated this plane with the left aft facing seat removed to allow more stretch out room for his family.] The side panels are covered in gray fabric with gray leather trim. The seats are clean with tight stitching and they operate properly along their tracks as well as seat back adjustment.
The side panels are clean, tight and exhibit no tears, with two small exceptions – the trim is just slightly pulling away at the seam with the plastic trim on the right side of the baggage section, and there is a small frayed area on the top of the co-pilot side fabric storage pocket.
The carpet is very clean with no rips or pulling and only minor matting at the entry and pilot areas. The headliner and trim plastic are light gray and are very clean, with minimal plastic cracking – at a few of the mounting screws.
There a pull-out desk on the right cabin wall and it is very clean and operates smoothly.
The glass is very good all-around. The heated window strip was replaced in 1998.
Two minor damage events: 2005 – A repair to the left wing locker door area; and in 2008 a repair to the vertical fin due striking the bottom of a bi-fold door.
