1978 CESSNA 152
PAINT: WHITE OVERALL WITH RED, BLUE AND PURPLE STRIPES [8/23/03]
The aircraft was painted in August of 2003 and exhibits excellent coverage over the entire airframe with an excellent luster. There are minimal small missing paint chip areas – mostly on the landing gear tube covers. The paint appears to be free of any evidence of surface corrosion.
The glass is in excellent condition all-around. There is minimal very light scratches and crazing.

This is a rare find! Only 3505 total time since new on the airframe. This 152 was bought new by the Navy Flying Club in San Diego and they owned it until June of 1981 and approximately 1640 hours of use. Since then it has been owned by private owners and very well cared for.

INTERIOR: GRAY SEATS, TRIM, SIDE PANELS, AND DARK CARPET.
Overall the interior shows very nice. The seats, side panels and carpet are all well maintained. The stitching is tight and exhibit no tears. The carpet is clean with no rips or pulling. And even in the areas of high use – such as on the front floor – are free of stains, fading, or scuffing. There is one small stain on the floor of the baggage area.
There are small scuff/wear marks at the base of the door frame kick panel trim on each side. The headliner is off white with gray fill accent and very clean. The plastic trim is matching gray and shows no fading or cracking. The interior has numerous custom matching storage pockets on the cabin doors as well as throughout the baggage area.
The windshield and cabin windows are clear and in excellent condition all around.
The only documentation of any damage repair was on 6/26/78 and 396 hours TTIS, where repairs were made to the left wing outboard skin and tip, top skin forward of the flap and the engine mount.
During my customary pre-listing flight test, this 152 proved to be a very smooth running, well balanced aircraft. It produced the book climb rate [70 degrees F, 2,000 feet yielded the published 600 FPM, and this was in high humidity]. And at 3,500 feet and 2400 RPM the true airspeed was 102 knots to the published 101 knots. Everything worked perfectly and the plane was rock solid stable hands off.
